LORI AND RICHARD PELLERIN SCHOLARSHIP

HISTORY

Century Rehabilitation was established in 1999 to provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology to patients in skilled nursing and out-patient facilities. In 2015, Mr. and Mrs. Pellerin established this scholarship fund to invest in the education of young people who are pursuing a career in this highly competitive industry.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be related to an employee of Century Rehabilitation (Baton Rouge, LA) or one of its affiliates

  • Applicants must be entering their final year of study for an Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant degree program

  • Minimum cumulative GPA requirement: 3.0

  • U.S. citizen

AWARD

The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500 and must be used for tuition only.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Application

  • Academic transcript from previous semester

  • Academic resume

  • Employment verification from relative employed by Century Rehabilitation or affiliate

  • Letter of recommendation

  • Essay that details the applicant’s background, interests, and future plans
