Scholarship Renewals

Some of our scholarships can be renewed for more awards. But you’ll have to maintain good academic standing and offer supporting documents before we can issue additional scholarship money. 

Each recipient is responsible for checking this website for renewal instructions every semester. Please click the button below to email your renewal documents. Include your name, scholarship awarded, and attach your renewal documents in pdf format. Please submit all of your renewal documents before the end of the semester for which you are submitting your documents. No scholarship checks will be issued for previous semesters.

ASSOCIATED GROCERS-SAM S. POLITZ SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: Recipients must provide the Foundation with a transcript of each completed semester and proof of full-time enrollment for every future or current semester to receive payment.

Required documents: 

  • Proof of full-time enrollment: The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript: Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 per semester.

 
 

 
 

PAUL F. BROWN SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: Students must provide the Foundation with a transcript and proof of full-time enrollment to receive the second-semester payment.

Required documents: 

  • Proof of full-time LSU enrollment: The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript: Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 per semester.

 
 

 

STEPHEN W. CAVANAUGH SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: The subsequent scholarship check will be issued only upon receipt of these documents.

Required documents: 

  • Proof of full-time enrollment: The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Previous semester’s academic transcript: Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 per semester.

  • A signed statement verifying you are still pursuing a degree in an insurance-related field. Please contact the director of your major for this statement. A Word document will not be accepted.

 
 
 

BOUDREAUX FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP IN HONOR OF JERRY AND CHERRY BOUDREAUX

RENEWAL:  Students must provide the Foundation with a transcript and proof of full-time enrollment for the upcoming semester.

A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted.   • Previous semester’s academic transcript: Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 per semester.


CHERYL D. CONKLING MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: The scholarship check will only be issued upon receipt of required documents. Documents to be submitted every semester:

KAREN E. DOMINGUE-MAILLET AND SOLVAY/ECO SERVICES SCHOLARSHIP

GMRA SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: Documents will need to be submitted every semester to receive the award. Recipients must remain employed part-time by an ADMAX or Associated Grocers store and enrolled as a full-time student.

Required documents: 

  • Proof of full-time enrollment: The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered letter or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify the recipient is enrolled full-time in the current semester.

  • Official academic transcript from previous semester

  • Letter of recommendation from store manager confirming employment: It must be on official letterhead and include the store number, date and manager’s signature.


WHATLEY 1999 SCHOLARSHIP

RENEWAL: Students must provide the Foundation with an official transcript and proof of enrollment every semester to receive payment.

Required documents: 

  • Proof of full-time enrollment: The letter or certificate must have a signature, logo, or school’s official seal. A current enrollment verification certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse is acceptable. A pre-registered or a letter of registration will not be accepted. Proof of enrollment must verify you are enrolled full time in the current semester.

  • Most recent official transcript: Must include final posted grades from the previous semester
